ABOUT KING FARMERS MARKET

King Farmers Market was established in 2009 with the support of the Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods (NECN). The market is located one block south of the vibrant Alberta Arts District, adjacent to King Park & Playground. It is operated by Portland Farmers Market, a non-profit organization that manages five farmers markets in Portland. The main objective of Portland Farmers Market is to provide marketplaces for local food growers and producers to sell their farm-fresh products to over half a million shoppers annually. The market has over 190 vendors and generates around $9 million in sales annually. Portland Farmers Market serves as a leader in the local food movement and as an incubator for emerging businesses, a culinary focal point, a cultural destination, and a beacon for Portland's sustainability culture.
