Kenton Farmers Market Opens For The Season On June 4, 2025 At 3 PM -06/03/25

WHAT   

Kenton Farmers Market is opening for its 14th season this Wednesday, June 4. Seventeen regional farmers and local food producers are scheduled for the market's opening day.  

This seasonal neighborhood market in North Portland features an average of a dozen vendors each week, offering local, farm-fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, hot food, and other specialty items.   

OSU Extension Service Food Hero program is back, offering kids of all ages fun educational activities, including interactive games!  

The market will host live performances by local musicians every Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The market will host monthly events, including recipe demonstrations, cultural and seasonal celebrations.

Aligned local community groups, such as OSU Extension Service Master Gardeners, are invited to share information and resources with shoppers through a dedicated booth space at the market. 

Cash, credit/debit, SNAP/Oregon Trail EBT are currencies accepted at Kenton Farmer Market. SNAP shoppers can receive up to $20 daily in Double Up Food Bucks from the market to buy fresh fruits and vegetables from the farm vendors.

Lents International Farmers Market Opens For The Season On Sun, June 1, 2025 At 9 AM -05/31/25

WHAT   

Lents International Farmers Market is opening for its 20th season this Sunday June 1. Twelve regional farmers and local food producers are scheduled for the market's opening day.  

This seasonal neighborhood market in Southeast Portland features an average of a dozen vendors each week, offering local, farm-fresh produce, flowers, fish, eggs, baked goods, hot food, and other specialty items.   

OSU Extension Service Food Hero program is back, offering kids of all ages fun educational activities, including interactive games! Kids receive $4 to spend with the market's farmers each time they participate. 

The market will host live performances by local musicians every Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, as well as special community-led events every month. 

Aligned local community groups, such as OSU Extension Master Gardeners, Green Lents, and the East Portland Collective, are invited to share information and resources with shoppers through a dedicated booth space at the market. 

Cash, credit/debit, SNAP/Oregon Trail EBT are currencies accepted at Lents International Farmer Market. SNAP shoppers can receive up to $20 daily in Double Up Food Bucks from the market to buy fresh fruits and vegetables from the farm vendors. Suma returns for another season to offer additional funds to SNAP shoppers, increasing their at-market buying power.
