Evergreen Public Schools Will Again Offer Free Breakfast and Lunch to Children During Summer
Vancouver, Wash., June 2, 2025 — With the 2024-25 school year winding down, Evergreen Public Schools announced that it will again serve meals at no cost to children during the summer. The district's Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) will offer free breakfast and lunch to children ages 1 to 18, regardless of if they attend school in the district.
The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Under USDA rules, regulations and requirements, meals are intended to be consumed on site. USDA does not allow grab-and-go options at this time.
