At 0436 Troutdale Police received several calls of shots fired in the 1200 block of SE 23rd. Police then received a call from a female who stated she knew who was firing the gun. Troutdale Police continued to receive more calls of a white Camry driving up and down the street in the same area firing shots out the window.

Police located the vehicle and the subject firing the shots at 1231 SE 23rd Troutdale, OR. After several individuals were evacuated from the 1231 SE 23rd address, Troutdale officers took 26 year old Dominique McDonald into custody without further incident. Officers learned McDonald had a verbal altercation with a female at which time he allegedly pointed a handgun at the female before walking outside the house where he fired several rounds. There were no injuries or property damage reported.

Detectives are executing a search warrant on the 1231 SE 23rd address in an attempt to recover any additional evidence, and are continuing to work the case at this point. McDonald was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center for the charges of Unlawful use of a Weapon, Domestic Violence/Menacing, and Disorderly Conduct.
