Night Paving Closures Planned June 1-2 At SE 192nd Avenue/SE 34th Street In Vancouver
- 05/30/18
Vancouver, Wash. – The intersection of Southeast 192nd Avenue and Southeast 34th Street will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to about 8 a.m., on Friday, June 1, and Saturday, June 2, for repaving by City of Vancouver Public works crews.
During the night paving work, Southbound 192nd Avenue will be closed at Southeast 20th Street, with flaggers managing local- access-only traffic to Southeast 25th Street. Northbound traffic on Southeast 192nd will remain open from Washington SR 14, but drivers should expect lane changes and flaggers. Southeast 34th Street will be closed at Southeast 189th Avenue on the west and Southeast 196th Avenue on the east.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down and watch for signs and flaggers in the construction zone. Where possible, consider taking an alternate route to avoid delays and detours.
The work is being done at night on the weekend to reduce impacts to commuter traffic. Paving is highly weather dependent. In case of rain, the work will be rescheduled.
