Suspect In Homicide Arrested (Photo) -01/23/19

On January 23rd at approximately 5:30 PM D'Anthony Leslie Williams (DOB: 11/23/1999) was arrested for the murder of Kayla Chapman that occured on January 22nd in Kelso.  Williams was located in Camas, Washington and with the help of the Camas Police Department, Clark County Sheriffs Office and the Vancouver Police Department, Williams was taken into Custody without incident.  

The suspect vehicle, which had been stolen by Williams on an earlier date and was used in the commission of this crime, was located in Vancouver by Clark County Sheriffs Deputies and Vancouver Police Officers.  

Williams was booked into the Cowlitz County Jail for Murder 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, VUCSA, and possesion of a stolen vehicle.  He will be held without bail until his arraingment.  

There are at least two other subjects that were in the suspect vehicle and they are encouranged to contact the Kelso Police Department.

The Kelso Police Department appreciates all the tips that were called in by the public.  We are no longer looking for the suspect vehicle but we would like anyone with information regarding the other occupants to contact us at 360-423-1270.
