News Release

Unfortunate Accident Injures 6 Year Old Girl - 07/28/18

July 28th, 2018

Just prior to 11:00 am this morning, during the Old Fashioned Festival Parade on 2nd Street in Newberg, a 6 year old girl was seriously injured when she accidentally fell from the float she had been riding in during the parade.  The accident occurred less than a block from fire station 20 in Newberg and the girl was immediately rushed to medics on scene at the station.  She was flown by Life Flight Helicopter to a Portland Hospital.  There is no further information at this time.   Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the little girl.
