POINT Closes Out Three Month Long Investigation Into Meth Distribution (Photo) -08/02/18
On 8/1/2018 members of the Polk Interagency Narcotics Team (POINT), assisted by the Dallas Police Department and Polk County Sheriff’s Office, conducted an operation in the Rickreall area in which Frank Guida (DOB/ 4-26-1994) was taken into custody. The operation concluded a three month long investigation into the illegal distribution of methamphetamine into the Polk County area conducted by GUIDA. GUIDA is a resident of Albany, Oregon who grew up in the Independence, Oregon area.
Detectives located 212.3 grams of methamphetamine during the operation that concluded the investigation. A search warrant was also served on GUIDA’s residence in Albany, Oregon. Overall the investigation resulted in the seizure of 845.2 grams (1.87 pounds) of methamphetamine.
The following are the charges GUIDA was lodged into the Polk County Jail on:
- Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine (Substantial Quantity) – 7 Counts
- Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Substantial Quantity) – 7 Counts
Bail was set at arraignment on 8/2/2018 at $2,000,000.00.
