On 01/13/2018 at about 1416 hrs., police responded to a burglary that occurred at a business on the 100 block of SW Frontage Road. The investigation is open.

On 01/13/2018 at about 1700 hrs., a business in the 400 block of S Broadway Street reported a theft. A report was taken.

On 01/13/2018 at about 1700 hrs., an unknown suspect struck a parked vehicle, causing about $500 in damage, in the 100 block of SE Shafford Street. A report was taken.

On 01/14/2018, a subject identifying himself as an employee of a local law enforcement agency called an Estacada citizen and stated she had a warrant. The citizen recognized this as a common scam and ended the call with the person before any money was requested. The local law enforcement agency was contacted and advised of the scam involving their identity.

On 01/14/2018 at about 1730 hrs., police responded to the 30000 block of NW Evergreen Way regarding an unwanted person. One party was excluded from all property owned by the other. A report was taken.

On 01/15/2018 at 1038 hrs., police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of NE 6th Avenue. One juvenile was taken into custody after a short altercation. The juvenile was transported to the juvenile detention center in Oregon City on the charges of harassment and resisting arrest.

On 01/11/2018, at around 0325 hrs., police were dispatched to a report of a hit and run crash with injuries in the area of Highway 26 and Kate Schmitz Avenue. One party was transported to a local hospital. The investigation is ongoing.

Dhone (30, of Sandy) was taken into custody for an active warrant out of Multnomah County in addition to the crime of Menacing. Dhone was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on no-bail.

On 01/10/2018 at around 2356 hrs., police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 19000 block of Wellesley Avenue. After investigation, George C. Hilt (31, of Sandy), was arrested for Menacing and Harassment. He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where he was lodged on $20,000 bail.

On 01/10/2018 at 1516 hrs., Larry Y. Zhu (35, of Sandy) was arrested near the 39000 block of Pioneer Boulevard. Zhu had several warrants for his arrest and was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where he was held on no-bail.

On 01/10/2018 at about 1950 hrs., police located a runaway juvenile in the 39000 block of Pioneer Boulevard. The juvenile was transported to Clackamas County Juvenile Reception center.

On 01/09/2018 at about 2000 hrs., officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of SE Shafford Street. They determined no crimes had been committed at the residence, but the male subject was reported to have left in a vehicle, intoxicated. He was subsequently contacted in the 300 block of SE Highway 224, and as a result of this contact, Mark G. Campbell (56, of Estacada), was arrested for Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

On 01/09/2018 at about 2110 hrs., a woman reported that her minor child was assaulted in the 500 block of NE Main Street. The case is being referred to the school resource officer for investigation.

On 01/09/2018 at 0701 hrs., police responded to a traffic crash in the area of Proctor Boulevard and Meinig Avenue involving a school bus and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was not seriously injured and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The school bus driver was not issued a citation. It was determined that poor visibility due to lighting and weather were the main factors in the crash.

The marijuana was seized, and the juveniles were released to their respective parents. The case will be referred to the Clackamas County Juvenile Department for charges.

On 01/06/2017 at about 2219 hrs., police arrested Brodie D. Califf (28, transient) in the 800 block of NW Wade Street on a warrant for failing to appear on a DUII. He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where he was lodged on $50,000 bail.

On 01/04/2018 at about 1830 hrs., police responded to the 16000 block of 362nd Drive regarding a hit & run motor vehicle crash. A report was taken.

On 01/04/2018, at around 2152 hrs., police contacted Brian Tadevich in the 17000 block of Meinig Avenue. He had an outstanding cite and release warrant for theft III out of Clackamas County. He was cited and released.

On 01/05/2018 at about 0314 hrs., police stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. The vehicle was towing a stolen pickup on a trailer. The driver was questioned and the investigation is ongoing.

On 01/05/2018 at 0743 hrs., Police located a reported Juvenile Runaway at a business located in the 17000 block of Bluff Road. The juvenile's parent was informed of the location of the juvenile and that the juvenile was safe.

On 01/05/2018 at 0943 hrs., police had an abandoned vehicle towed which had been previously tag for removal. The vehicle was towed from near the intersection of SE Kelso and Jewelberry Avenue.

On 01/06/2018 at 1513 hrs., police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of Beers Avenue and Hood Street. The investigation revealed that the crash was caused by over-steering which led to the vehicle crashing into a fence. No citations were issued.

On 01/02/2018 at 0656 hrs., police received a report about a runaway juvenile from the 800 block of SE Darrow Road. A report was taken, and the juvenile was entered into appropriate databases.

On 01/02/2018, a woman was found laying in traffic on NW Wade Street near N 10th Avenue. A short time later, her crashed car was found about 1/8 mile north of that intersection, near Strubhar Lane. Bonnie L. Harvey (47, of Portland), was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on charges of Disorderly Conduct II, DUII, and Reckless Driving. Her bail was $5,000.

A man reported that between about 2200 hrs. and 2300 hrs. on 01/02/2018, a(n) unknown suspect(s) stole his bicycle from where he left it in the 300 block of S Broadway Street. A report was taken.

On 01/02/2018 at 0000 hrs., police stopped a vehicle and found the driver Kenneth J. Kneeland (49, of Oregon City) to have a warrant out of Clackamas County. He was cited for Driving While Suspended and was transported to the Clackamas County jail for the $10,000 bail warrant.

Between 12/29/2017 and 01/02/2018, an unknown suspect broke all the lights in Timberline Park. A report was taken and the estimated cost for repair is currently $100.

On 01/02/2018 at 1334 hrs., police arrested Jason G. Connor (37, of Sandy), at a business located in the 38000 block of Pioneer Boulevard. Connor was taken into custody for an outstanding Warrant out of Clackamas County for Felony Parole Abscond. He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where he was lodged on his no-bail warrant.

Sandy Police conducting death investigation, HWY 26 closed - 01/02/18

***UPDATE: The Sandy Police is currently conducting a death investigation on Highway 26 near the east end of SE Vista Loop Drive. The name of the deceased is not being released at this time, pending notification of next of kin. Delays over the next several hours are expected on Highway 26, as traffic is being re-routed around the scene. Please anticipate a longer than normal trip, or take an alternate route. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call the Sandy Police Tip Line at 503-489-2195, or Clackamas County Non-Emergency Dispatch at 503-655-8211. ***



Sandy Police are currently investigating a fatal hit and run crash on Highway 26. At 9:07 PM officers were called to Highway 26 near the intersection with SE Vista Loop Drive in Sandy. A pedestrian was found deceased and evidence at the scene indicates they were struck by a vehicle in the westbound lanes. Highway 26 is closed at this time and is being diverted around the closure on SE Vista Loop Drive. The closure is expected to last several hours while a crash reconstruction team responds to the scene. The name of the victim will not be released until family notifications can be made. Anyone that was driving in the area and may have seen anything relevant is asked to call Clackamas County Non Emergency Dispatch at (503)655-8211 or the Sandy Police Department Tip Line at (503)489-2195.

On 12/30/2017 at 1600 hrs., police arrested Micheal E. Anderson (25, of Estacada) in the 900 block of N Broadway Street for outstanding warrants out of Clackamas County. He was transported and booked in Clackamas County Jail without incident.

On 12/30/2017 at approximately 2105 hrs., Kenneth L. Wood (25, of Estacada), was arrested in the 800 block of N Broadway Street for an outstanding warrant out of Clackamas County. He was transported and booked in Clackamas County Jail on no-bail.

On 01/01/2018 at about 1807 hrs., officers stopped Kelly Haddad (42, of Eugene) for a traffic violation. It was discovered that his driving privileges were suspended at the misdemeanor level. He was arrested and lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on $2,500 bail for criminal Driving While Suspended. He was cited for speeding, driving uninsured, and failing to change name/address on registration of the vehicle he was driving, which was impounded.

On 12/30/2017 at 0727 hrs., police received a report about a utility trailer that was stolen overnight in the 19000 block of Redwood Street. A report was taken, and the photo was sent to local law enforcement.

On 12/30/2017 at 1029 hrs., police received a report about a recovered stolen utility trailer near the intersection of Champion Way and Industrial Way. Frank M. Willey (45, of Boring) was charged with Theft 2. The trailer was released to the victim at the scene.

On 12/31/2017 at about 1921 hrs., police responded to a report of a rifle laying on the trunk of a vehicle in the 38000 block of Highway 26. The rifle was found to be an old BB gun. It was seized for destruction.

On 01-01-2018, a citizen reported a vehicle being driven east on westbound-only Proctor Boulevard. Police caught up to the vehicle at Highway 26 & Bluff Road. After field sobriety tests, the driver, Kade St. Clair (22, of Portland) was arrested for DUII. He was cited for driving 44 MPH in a 25 MPH zone, driving with no operator's license and driving uninsured. St. Clair was transported to the Clackamas County jail, where he was lodged on $2500 bail.

On 01/01/2018 at about 1824 hrs., police were notified by dispatch of a violation of a no contact order occurring at a residence on the 37000 block of Dubarko Road. Officers responded and located Michelle Smith (35, of Sandy) inside the residence, in violation of the no contact order. Smith was taken into custody and transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where she was lodged on $20,000 bail for violation of restraining order.

On 01/02/2018 at 0000 hrs., police stopped a vehicle and found the driver, Kenneth J. Kneeland (49, of Oregon City) to have a Contempt of Court warrant out of Clackamas County. He was cited for Driving While Suspended and was transported to the Clackamas County jail for the $10,000 bail warrant.

On 12/21/2017 at about 0743 hrs., Georgianna M. Carpenter (55, of Estacada) turned herself in for an outstanding warrant issued out of Clackamas county. She was lodged at Clackamas County Jail on no-bail.

On 12/22/2017 at about 1420 hrs., police contacted Andre B. Coleman (37, of Estacada) in the 200 block of SW 2nd Avenue due to multiple complaints of Mr. Coleman verbally harassing people. One of the locations that Mr. Coleman was asked to leave from just prior to this was a business he'd already been formally trespassed from. Coleman admitted he was there. He was taken into custody for Trespass II and was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where he was lodged on $1500 bail.

On 12/23/2017 at about 1528 hrs., police responded to a report of a suspicious person at a business in the 300 block of S Broadway Street. It was determined that the business and several others wanted the suspicious person, later identified as Andre B. Coleman (37, of Estacada), excluded from the property for numerous inappropriate and threatening behaviors. It was determined that Mr. Coleman went into a business he'd been formerly trespassed from. He was located and arrested for Disorderly Conduct II and Trespass II, and was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on $3000 bail.

On 12/25/2017 at about 2230 hrs., a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation in hte 800 block of NW Evergreen Way. The driver was cited for Driving While Suspended, and his vehicle was impounded.

On 12/21/2017 at 0905 hrs., police responded to a report of Criminal Mischief at a location in the 17000 block of Meinig Avenue.

There was damage to a window at the location. There are no suspect(s) at this time.

On 12/21/2017 at 1051 hrs., police responded to a phone contact regarding Criminal Mischief involving the cutting of Christmas lights at a residence located in the 39000 block of Hood Street, Sandy.

On 12/21/2017 at 1232 hrs., a Sandy resident from the 16000 block of Bluff Rd. reported that their mail had been stolen. A report was taken and at this time the case is still under investigation.

On 12/21/2017 at 2134 hrs., police responded to a welfare check request in the 38000 block of Proctor Boulevard.  The reporting party was concerned over several juveniles that appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants.  Officers arrived on scene and found the subjects were adults, but still not of age to possess marijuana.  One subject was cited for the possession.

Thoenes (35, of Tualatin), was located at a church in the the 39000 block of Pleasant Street.   She was eventually arrested for Disorderly Conduct II and Resisting Arrest, and was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on $4000 bail.
