As a community partner, Peak Vista Community Health Centers will begin offering COVID-19 vaccine to patients 70 and older. This is the beginning of Peak Vista’s efforts to assist in the rollout of the COVID-19 Vaccine.

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Peak Vista Community Health Centers (Peak Vista) received its first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Peak Vista will follow public health guidelines as set by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) for administering the vaccine, vaccinating staff at a rate that is safe for Peak Vista associates while ensuring continued patient care. Currently, Peak Vista does not have a supply of vaccine for its patient population.
Peak Vista’s Senior Vice President of Medical Services, Joel Tanaka, MD, comments, “We have taken great lengths in the past year to ensure the safety of our staff, patients and community. The COVID-19 vaccine is another tool that we can use to safeguard the health of our employees and the patients we serve.”
